In the 1960s, it was presented in an article titled \"Stochastic Process\" by the Investor Educators Company, which explained both the theoretical stochastic process of prices and the indicator itself. Despite not being directly related to the theoretical process, the title of the article became part of the indicator\u0027s name. 💥Stochastic is based on the observation that when prices are rising, the closing price tends to move closer to the high or upper boundary of the price range. Conversely, when prices are falling, the closing price tends to move closer to the low or lower boundary of the price range.
