Designer Avalonia (preview) — a free designer of trading strategies: 166 indicators and 389 connectors to venues out of the box. A strategy is assembled from blocks with the mouse, and C# and Python are right there when code is easier. Backtesting, optimisation and live trading all live in the same window.
Preview. A cross-platform build of Designer on Avalonia for Windows, macOS and Linux. It is not a release yet: the release version for Windows is Designer.

A strategy without programming
- 166 technical indicators out of the box
- Nested schemes: a finished piece of logic becomes a block of its own
- Your own indicators, built in the designer
- Quantitative algorithms when the maths gets serious
Testing on history
- Any data: candles, ticks, order books, order log
- Advanced reports with export
- Detailed statistics per trade and drawdown
Formula debugger
- Stop the strategy to look at the data at any step
- Step through the logic — see what each block returned
Connectors to every market
- 389 connectors: American, European and Asian venues — stocks, futures, options, crypto, forex
- Several markets worked at once
- Paper trading on real data
Code editor for C# and Python
- Auto-completion and syntax highlighting
- A strategy can be written in Visual Studio and debugged there
- Your own blocks with your own logic — and back into the scheme
Example: arbitrage
Two legs, prices drifting apart and an entry on the spread — the whole logic as a scheme, without a line of code.
Example: options quoting with delta hedging
Quoting by the model and an automatic recalculation of the delta hedge — blocks again.
