stockpicker not able to be added

I am watching the first video, and when I tried to add "security picker" from toolbox,

I just only see following error message and cannot add it.

"The following reference has been added to the project: "StockSharp.Xaml, Version=4.4.14.0, Culture=neutral, PublickKeyToken=null"

In order to user types from the new reference, press OK to restart the XAML Designer. After the XAML Designer restarts, re-create the control on the artboard.

I have close the MainWindow.xaml and reopened, but not successful.

Where is "BaseTrader"?

At the first video, it is explained that implementing BaseTrader interface is required. However, I cannot find that. Where is this? How other people face this problem?

LMAX Data

Hi,

I have just signed up for a support plan after struggling to download LMAX data for backtesting. I have tried to download tick data but I am facing an error which I will attach as an image below.

The software lets me download level 1 & market depth data which seems to be downloading correctly, but no ticks are downloaded. I've attached a second image to show this.

My question is, how can I download tick data from LMAX? Do I need to have an active FIX API account setup with them first and pay their $300/month fees? Currently I just have access to their web trader...is this the probem?

Any help would be much appreciated. I am a compete beginner with this platform and am used to using MT4/5 platforms.

Exporting large files (Hydra Freezes)

Hi,

I'm having some issues with Hydra when I am trying to export large amounts of data.

First I am having to load the data for the given time period (this alone seems to take an extremely long time. 20 million timeframe candles takes over 12 hours just to load onto the platform before it can be exported. After that Hydra keeps freezing and often crashes when trying to export the data.

This data is just over a 2 month period so it's very frustrating as I need to export 2 years worth of data...

Is there anything that can be done to speed this process up or stop hydra freezing so much?

LMAX Data Export

Hi,

I need to be able to export my LMAX tick data to work with another backtesting solution for MT4 (known as Tick Data Suite).

Unfortunately the date formart of the CSV file for Stocksharp is not compatible with Tick Data Suite and needs to be in either of the following formats:

[b]2012-11-24 12:34:56.789" or "24.11.12 12:34:56.789[/b]

So I am wondering is there a way to write a parser that converts the date to a format such as those described above instead of using a numeric time stamp which StockSharp currently uses.

Any help on this would be much appreciated.

Designer/Hydra Issue

The right hand side shows that I have candle data for LMAX yet when I try to backtest the strategy between dates where I definitely have downloaded data, it says I don't have any....

IB Connector bug

Hi, I was just trying out the API latest version 4.4.13. Tried out both IQFeed and IB connectors. IQ Feed works great, but IB has a bug where my account # starts with a letter and it looks like you are trying to convert it to a number. Take a look at the exception attached. This happens when I try to call portfolios.ForEach(Trader.RegisterPortfolio) right from your IB sample app in Mainwindow.xaml.cs. If I comment out that line, the rest of it works fine.
